I have known her since high school and just recently I have reconnected with her. Her birthday is coming up and I do not have any ideas on what to give her. She is about two years removed from getting a degree in interior design.

If you have money get her a computer program but if you don't have much money maybe give her some books in architecture or art history books. You can also go to an art supply store and go to the drafting section. If you know that she likes hand drafting get her some drafting supplies. Try Binders, Plaza arts, Pearls or Sam Flacks.

A classical-looking painting or portrait handmade from one of your most memorable photos is a good piece to give your friend on such an occasion, don’t you think? You can select a suitable photo and then send it to http://www.paintyourlife.com and they will create a wonderful portrait out of it – on oil, pencil, charcoal or on canvas. Try it out! It doesn’t cost much. If you are looking for paintings done on canvas you can visit http://www.photo-print-on-canvas.com
