| We have received several gift cards for a wedding gift. I was wondering about the best way to word a thank you note. Any ideas appreciated. |

| This is what I did:"Thank you so very much for the wonderful giftcard gift. It will come in quite handy for our new home together" ... and then I would add my own personal thing to them. |

| Just a simple Thank you for the gift card, if you know what you bought with it you can let them know, also thank them for celebrating with you on your big day! |

| Whatever is in your heart. Thank you notes should not be typed, they should be written. If you used this card to purchase other items not purched on your gift registry, you can tell them than. Did you use it for your honeymoon? Tell them that, and that due to their gift, you had a wonderful honeymoon. It doesn't have to be long. You can even thank them for attending your wedding. (if they came)Just say it from the heart. Did you or did you not appreciate the gift? Then say so. |

| I'd word it something like this: "Thank you so much for the fantastic gift card from _________. I love that store, and can't wait to go shopping for our home! It will definitly be put to good use!" |
