Ok so this is our 10 month anniversary...yeah I know I know. But anyways he gets me something EVERY month for our anniversary (gold earrings, a ring, a massage etc). I want to get him a little something this time. Thoughts ideas? He is a really laid back guy, doesn't like sports, doesn't wear suits, loves his cargo pants and t-shirts lol and doesn't wear jewelry. He has no hobbies (except wood working and has no time for that). So I am at a total and complete loss! Anyone suggestions? Thoughts??

Make him a nice dinner that takes a while to bake - like lasagna - and give him a steamy massage while it's cookin'. Set the table with candles and flowers and give him a nice card.Did that for my hubby for our anniversary - and he loved it!Smile

Would have helped if you would have included your name, but how about framing a really nice picture of the two of you and having it engraved? That way he could see you two together even when you couldn't BE together?

A big photo frame with a load of photographs from your wedding, and while you were dating - right back to when you were first together. It could go on the wall and will be a cute reminder of your life together so far Smile

I'd choose romance over material things. Cook him his favorite dinner and serve it with candles and his favorite music playing. Or take him out to a nice restaurant. Better yet, tell him to dress up and blindfold him so he won't know where you're going. You could so something a little corny like buying him an album and telling him it's to keep all of the memories in that you'll be making together.

"no time for wood working!?" there is always time for our interests.get him something to get him motivated and back into the workshop!! look around at his tools, see whats beat up, if its beat up he obviously used it a lot, get him a new one. (BUT do NOT throw the other one away, let him decide that! messing with someones tools is like messing with someones kids! lol, big NO-NO!)

Do you guys ever get away? You could book a hotel for a friday and saturday night, somewhere not far from where you live, and just have a nice dinner, go out to a movie or show, bowling, you could even invite your closest couple and have then go to the same hotel, make a fun weekend of it. My husband loves it when I plan exciting things that are just for him and I.
