i'm not what kind to get. i got her sunflowers last time, want to get something different. it's kinda a welcome back thing. she got back from vacation today(err, yesterday, after midnight now) and she's coming over(i've already seen her, but we were at her house and it wasn't very long) and i'm gonna give her the gift a made(notes for everyday she was gone, and a few other things, like a collage and stuff) and am gonna add the flowers like on top when i hand it to her. what kind though? i have 10 bucks, but that gets a boquet at Kroger of most of em, i'm not sure what kinda they have though... any suggestions on menaingful ones? i'm not good with flowers. lolthat'd be a good idea, but i'm shy, and can't say much anyway, my mom doens't know that me and my gf are... uh, involved. lol. she just thinks we're friends. and i don't think the store has an actual florist anyway, at least, i never see anyone around there.

NO ROSES! Ugh, I don't like them personally. Get her something bright and sunny, although I wouldn't recommend carnations either. I say lilies are pretty. Daisies are cute too, especially for summer. If you want, get her a plant! An orchid shouldn't be too much and it can be kept! Hope they have something like that for you to get!

Since you're going to go out and buy her the flowers anyways, how about you go to the Florist and ask her for specific flowers that mean something like "Welcome back" but in a romantic way. ^_^

Honey, ANY kind of flowers can make the heart sing, and bring a smile! So GET a Kroger/K-Mart bouquet, if that's what's affordable and available.....but if it was my purchasing for a loved one, I'd get: (A) The brightest, liveliest colors I could---and say "this shouts my joy";(B) The ones with the best scent (carnations are good, come in a lot of colors, and hold up well)----and say "this is how sweet you are to me"; or (C) A bunch of soft pastels, and a note "you soothe my heart, just by being here....welcome back!"I've never known any non-allergic person, straight, gay, OR bi, to **not** go "OOOOOhhhhhHHHHWWW!" for flowers, regardless of the type. Have a wonderful get-together!

Yellow roses. (I used to get these for my girlfriend... it's what Angelina Jolie's character sends her girlfriend in Gia.)
