How can I send someone money as a gift to Germany?

I want to send my friend a gift for her wedding, but I want to send some money with it too. I thought I could send a visa gift card but I think it won't work there. Obviously I don't want her to have to deal with cash and exchange rate is so bad for USD. Should I send her a personal check? What's the best way? Back to top
