We have only been married for a couple of months. He loves being active with sports and camping in the great outdoors. It would be great to get some ideas of what I could do for him throughout the day and also the "main" birthday activity. Also some gift ideas for him would be great as well. Thanks!

What about planing a camping trip for the weekend around his birthday? Even just a one nighter. You could surprise him and have the car packed when he gets home from work. If he is like my husband he probably has all the gear that he needs for camping. Maybe a gift certificate to a sporting goods store like REI. I never know for sure what he wants there, but he can always find something, LOL!

ARE you near any of the major trails ? the AT or that sort of thing, plan the day to take a good long walk on the trail and as you go, then give him little IOU cards, One back rub,...... One personalized bath............ one foot massage............ etc one dinner of your choice homemade.............. one night doing the activity of your choice............ if you have only been married a while, and money may not be as good as it could, it is inexpensive and will mean a lot to him, i promise, just try it. GOOD LUCK

You should give your husband something memorable that could last... Do you have pictures of both of you? I'm sure you have. So, send it to http://www.photoartomation.com and they will turn it to the beautiful peace of art. They do a really good job. You can add text such as a personal message or poem on top of the image. That would be so romantic, I'm sure he'd love it...he can't be picky about that.

I’ll have to suggest www.creanta.comThey turn any image like your favorite photographs into a hand made painting. What I liked of them is that they at really good at capturing the physical likeness and they’re affordable too. I was very impressed with the results. Highly recommend them.Best wishes!!

A poster of his favorite football team could surprise him Smile Check out http://www.viewposters.comor perhaps you can find something such as Art, or Photography (if he is into that) so you can both enjoy a framed poster on your wall.

I got one for my boyfriend and he loved it. You can write all kinds of funny stuff.... My boyfriend thought it was super cute! .the "Think of me when you're feeling dirty" soap was the one he loved the most
