|
|
| I am asking this question for my mother. What can she give as a gift to her best friend who is turning 60? This friend can afford to buy what ever she wants but is some what of a minimalist. Her house is perfectly decorated and she does not like alot of trinkets, knick nacks or other dust collectors. She does not have a closet jam packed with clothes but the ones that she does have are mostly expensive brands. She is married but no children. She is weight conscious and walks everyday. She is not into e-mail, computers or the internet. She has plenty of jewelery. She sent my mom a dozen yellow roses for her b-day. We need help coming up with an idea for a nice gift. Thanks! My mom and her friend live in different states but see each other about every 3 months. |

| What if your mother took her friend to a nice afternoon tea? There are some wonderful tea rooms where you can spend a lovely afternoon in a quiet and classy environment. |

| How about a gift basket filled with her favorite beauty products or healthy snacks? Or a nice dish garden or houseplant, along with a nice card. Or making a donation to her favorite charity in her name. Or you Mom could treat her to lunch and have a fresh cut vase of flowers with a nice card waiting at the table. |

| You could get her edable arrangements which you could order and have dilvered to her house. They have the cutest ideas like, for example, you could ask for fruit arranged in a basket! It could come with chocolate coverd strawberries too, which is to die for! And who wouldn't love that? Also, maybe candles...I mean, that seems to be the ideal gift for older peeps :)Good luck! |

| I’ll have to suggest www.creanta.comThey turn any image, including your favorite photograph into a hand made painting. What I liked of them is that they are really good at capturing the physical likeness. Not to mention very affordable. I highly recommend them.Best wishes!! |

| Not sure if she needs more decoration, but sounds like she might like a beaufiful framed poster to hang on her wall? maybe balck and white photograph of a place she likes? Check out http://www.viewposters.com There are many categories that could be a good match. |
