| Bridal showers are usually more a family affair. I have yet to see a stripper at one. The Bachelorette party is where you might see a scantilly clad money maker. I think your dish set idea is lovely. Why not ask the brides mother where she is registered and find out what style she likes. Housewares are nice bridal shower gifts. Sexy lingerie etc are also good gifts if you are very close to the bride to be. One of my favorite gifts (and I got many expensive ones) was a hamper that had a paper towel head on it, a spatula and a long ladle for arms and a mop for hair. it had an apron on and was filled with all sorts of stuff (cleaning supplies, toilet paper, etc) have fun. |

| Tolerate the stripper for your friend. Most women expect to see the stripper at the party. I don't want one at mine but my bff told me that i didn't have a choice and to be quite honest with you i look forward to it. I agree with your mommy on the gift. Sexy stuff........yea!!!!!!!!!!! If you are going to avoid him, try not to be too obvious about it for two reasons. One, if he realises that you are uncomfortable with him he is most definitely going to make you the centre of his attention. The other reason is, if you have friends like mine, they will make sure that stripper gives you the time of your life (not sex wise) just cause you don't like them. Who knows, you might just enjoy it. I know i would. As for what you should wear it is very dependent on the circle of people involved in the mix. Something pretty, stylish, and comfortable. Not too formal but not something that you will wear to the mall. |
