Hi, I have been wondering what OTHER people spend in this situation. Note: I am trying to simplify my life, but still maintain being nice to people. My husband's family consists of now 11 people (including 2 babies and me), plus my mom makes 12. There's a lot of gifting going on: birthdays for every adult and baby, mother's day, father's day, and Christmas, but they've simplified Christmas to a grab-bag. -What do you spend on your siblings or in-laws birthday? Is it a gift card or phyiscal gift?-(I used to spend $25-30 off Amazon per person but I am reducing it or going to gift cards.) Which do you think is best? $20 gift card, $25 gift card, or $25 off amazon wishlist (given it adds up to $25 for free shipping)?-What do you spend on a related baby's/infant's birthday?I just bought slightly less than $20 for the infant's upcoming bday. It's just every second I turn around there's another birthday it seems, so your input is appreciated.
