| I do not like him as a bf, but I want to turn him down politely. (but possibly be friends cuz he seems nice). I asked a similar question before (check q's if you want to). Basically the guy is not understanding it when I said no to dating, but yes to going out as FRIENDS.1) Tell him I'm busy over and over again.2)Call him and tell him that I want him to go and find a girl that likes him more as a friend and not waste his time on me by trying to charm me with flowers/gifts.3) Go out with him but INSIST that I pay for my expenses (dinner, ticket) since we are just friends (and hope he gets the message this time).I don't want to be brutal here or hurtful because I don't want to hurt his feelings because he is a nice person. Thanks for your advice, really! |

| some guys just don't get the 'being friends' thing. i think B, very gently but firmly put is the only way to go. tell him he deserves someone that adores him for the great guy he is, someone who thinks he's the hottest thing in the world, and that someone isnt you.if you go out with him as friends it kind of gives him false hope. |
