Don't you as a Christian feel Jesus should not have to die for you?

are u joking? there is no heaven no matter how much u believe it. And Jesus was just some crazy fruit -- but not the only fruit who claimed to be the son of God. Man -- if u believe, good for u -- but not good for me because I have to listen to u ramble on about the invisible man and some putz who thought he was special. "I'm thumbody!!!!!" and ....... thousands and thousands of jews died back then. it's just the way it was. -- nobody died for u.

God bless you. I feel so sorry for you. I think it's important for you to understand salvation. You'll see that Jesus loved us 1st and he proved it by being the ultimate sacrifice for our sins. You've got questions so I can see you're headed in the right direction but you're asking the wrong people. If you want to know about Jesus, ask Jesus. He's right there waiting for you to say, Lord, I just don't understand this. Why would you do such a thing, what does it all mean? Ask him. He'll answer you and he'll send someone to you that will be able to minister to you in a way that you'll accept it. His word doesn't go out void - believe that. Your avatar looks so bitter, angry and confused - God bless you.Click the link or copy to your browser and read to understand a little more about why he chose to die for you.http://www.bibletruthkeys.com/JESUS%20DIE.htm

How do you know that we would even be able to seek God for righteousness to come from heaven unless Jesus made the sacrifice he made? If that's the sacrifice God required then I'm glad Jesus was willing to be sacrificed, even if I don't feel particularly worthy of it.

I think you are more ignorant than ill-minded. Christians assert -- and always have -- that God is under no compulsion or necessity in either Creation or Redemption, so your premise is useless. But you really should know this.
