He already has lots of books I've bought for him and he has stuck to them until hes read them all and then he's ready for another. He's my little bookworm lol. He has a library card and has probably checked out everything that is in his age appropriate range. What would be a great gift for him for his birthday? It has to have something to do with reading/books....please help! Thank you in advance!

since he is 12..he is old enough to start appreciating older levels of books, like poetry...try some edgar allen poe...books with a little culture never hurt and i think he would enjoy reading them and trying to figure out their meanings.

Tools/ supplies to write his own story, a real cool reading light, a lap pad, to read comfortably in bed, or maybe just time. Do you read? Maybe you could find a book a bit thick for him, in dual copies, and have a discussion time, where you both discuss where you are in the book, and your ideas on what might happen next.

Well, it might help to hear advice from a twelve year old who likes to read! Lucky you, I am one! Okay well here's my advice! Here are some good books/ series:Left Behind Jr.The Looking Glass Wars TrilogyNancy DrewHardy BoysThe Giver (by Lois Lowry)Also try magazines that he would be interested in, I know I love those! My favorite book though is the bible. But, that's of course, based on my religion. Anyways, I hope this answer helped!

A gift card to Borders books. If he likes to read, more power to him. Let him pick out some new books. Donate or let him trade in the books he has read for new ones.

Maybe like a limited edition collectors book with like 10 books combined... or maybe a gift card to a book store? You could buy him a Kindle, which is a device that lets you read & download books...

well you could start getting harder level books, or go to thrift stores and get a whole bunch of books for like a quarter each and put in a HUGE box and get like 30 of them. I would definitly appreciate that! (: good luck, and finally an older boy who likes to read.

So he already has a lot of books. Get him more books. Nothing wrong with reading. It beats vegetating in front of a television or computer monitor getting a wide butt.
