We've tried a lot of different bottles. Our favorite is the Playtex drop ins. Our son doesn't have gas with them and they are really the only ones he liked.

i had twins and tried all different kinds of bottles and ended up with one twin that would only drink from the wide mouth playtex rubber nipples and one twin who would only drink from silicon nipples. in retrospect, i think i gave them too many choices and ended up making feeding for complicated for both me and my newborns. i was told that unless theres a medical reason why you should use a certain type, just use what you want and be consistent. your baby will associate that food comes out of whatever bottles and nipples you use and will likely adjust. also, after months of using the playtex bottles, i was mortified to find out that they contained BPA. i immediately switched to evenflo glass bottles. i was skeptical to try them at first, but i ended up liking them better and so did my twins. and if you're considering glass its worth noting that none of mine have broken or chipped, even after being chucked into the wall from a highchair and dropped on a ceramic tile floor.

playtex drop ins are great, easier with clean up because u just throw the liner away....and u can push the air out of the liner easily, so they get less air and less gas....dr. browns say they take out air, but those are hard to clean, and the straw like thing in the middle is weird, plus i heard they heat up uneveenlygood luck!

I bought practically one of every kind of bottle on the walmart shelf when I was pregnant with my daughter and...I tried every one of them, but she didn't care for any of them. Before I left the hospital though, they gave me a diaper bag with samples in it and it had a 5 oz. Soothie bottle in it, which was one bottle I didn't buy. After I tried all the bottles I had bought, I figured what the heck I'll give this one a try and see how she likes it. She LOVED it, she drank out of it like there was no tomorrow. She used Soothie bottles and ONLY Soothie bottles till she was 1 and I took the bottle. I tried to give her different one through out her first year, she wouldnt take any other one. When I was pregnant with my son I just went ahead and bought the set of Soothie bottles to save the aggrevation. He has drank out of them since he was born, but I have given him other bottles and he drank out of them too. I got a free Playtex Drop-In Nurser in the mail for filling out a survey a few weeks ago and decided to let him try it. Now its the only bottle he will drink out of! Its frustrating, I would just buy a few different kinds, try them and your baby will let you know if he/she likes them or not. One thing about the angled bottles though, I bought a Playtex Ventaire Advanced since it is 'supposed' to reduce spit up (it doesn't, I actually think it made it worse) he would only drink out of it if I held it, even after he learned to hold his own bottle. He will hold any bottle I give him and has for months now, but he still will NOT hold that angled bottle, I think its just to hard cause of its shape.
