Ephesians 4:8 Therefore He says: “ When He ascended on high, He led captivity captive, And gave gifts to men.”Romans 11:29For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance. If a person continues in unrepentant sin can they still operate in God's gifts of the Spirit?

For a while, ... but if the person continues in sin: the anointing and the giftings are withdrawn. ... in that case: the person is "just faking it."It does happen, ... and it is very tragic.

Yes because of Romans 11:29. Many Godless men and women throughout history have used their gifts, just in perverted ways.

it can still happen that the gifts continue. it is my experience that they become weakened, the gifts. they can also be restored in turning your will over, sometimes with even more clarity.

The Holy Spirit will work within the person to the point that they will one day find that sin undesirable to continue. Not only sin, but other day to day problems like smoking, drinking, swearing etc. It may not be immediate but it will happen slowly bit by bit like how a plant grows roots. If you force yourself to sin in " unrepentance" , you'll just end up feeling uncomfortable for a while, but you're still covered by the Blood of Christ no matter what. only thing for you to do is believe that Jesus still loves you.

Absolutely no, Because the fruits of the spirit are: joy, peace, humbleness, faith, mercy......The bible says "he who doesn't have the spirit of Christ doesn't belong to him". You have to let the spirit of God control your life in order to be led by the spirit. and if you let he spirit of God lead you day by day your character will become more like Jesus character. Yes we are call from sin and you get the spirit of God at the moment you surrender your life to Christ. I hope you can understand what i mean.

Just because you are USED of God doesn't mean you are APPROVED of God. What I mean is God can do you like a tissue? Use you for a purpose and then throw you away.In the book of Matthew (sorry don't have my bible in front of me and the exact passage is slipping my memory), there is a scripture where people were saying to Jesus "We cast out devils in your name, healed in your name, etc, etc in your name and Jesus responds by saying, but I never knew you".There are alot of people doing things in the name of the Spirit. But it doesn't mean they are right with God. They will be judged. God uses the gifts of the spirit to bless others. Those other people will get their ordained blessing and then God will deal with you and your sin at some point. I wouldn't play with that kind of fire. The Romans 11:29 scripture you quoted means GOD doesn't have to repent for giving the gifts. He never regets allowing someone to work in the gift because in all honestly, it's not about you, it's about God's purpose and plan. Remember we are all just TOOLS in a master plan. Its' like when you bring your car to the dealer to get fixed. The master plan is to fix your car. In the workshop is a bin full of tools. Whichever tool is available to use to fix the car is what the mechanic chooses. But the emphases is not in the tool, it's in the fact the car needs to be fixed. Sooooooo, if a soul needs fixing and you happen to be available, God may choose you to fix a soul, but then basically throw yu back in the bin. It is never about us. It's a humbling thing to know God CHOOSES us to work HIS plan. We never should get to the point where we feel we are all that because he uses us in the gifts. When you receive the Holy Spirit it comes with 9 gifts that can manifest themselves at anytime God chooses. So to be unrepentant is a slap in the face to God. The bible says obedience is better than sacrifice.

It's up to the Sovereign Lord of all creation. He does whatever He wants to do with whomever He wants to do it whenever it suits Him to bring it to pass. He hasn't put Himself into a box with His written Word.Psalms 115:3 But our God is in heaven; He does whatever He pleases.Psalms 135:6 Whatever the LORD pleases He does, In heaven and in earth, In the seas and in all deep places.Isaiah 46:10 Declaring the end from the beginning, And from ancient times things that are not yet done, Saying, 'My counsel shall stand, And I will do all My pleasure,'
