Background info: Second wedding for both of us, 38 on the guest list, small intimate setting. Gift's for MIL and my Mom are personalized handkerchiefs, (my dad has passed away). He is 59 yrs old, hunts and fishes and loves Manhattans. He is a quirky fun loving kind of guy that loves to tell stories, and has welcomed me and my adult children into his life with open arms. They live in a very small house that is covered from floor to ceiling with clutter that I would really rather not add to. I would like to get him something just as a token of my thanks for his part in our wedding reception ( he will be reading the story behind the German toasting cup). Any ideas you could offer will be appreciated.

Gift certificate to a sporting good store. Monogramed "fish" key ring? German Toasting Cup with his initials!

I agree with the other 2people that responded, you dont need to add to his clutter so a gift card would be nice, or a bottle of his favorite booze

This might sound weird but there's a website that let's you put in the occasion and person's personality traits and then it suggests really cool gifts. I used it a bunch of times, maybe see what they suggest?www.gifts.comOtherwise I do like the idea of a German toasting cup with his monogram or something of the like ( =Good luck!
