Girlfriend of 9 months planning birthday!?

I'm 16, have currently been going out with a girl for nearly 6 months, Her birthday is coming up in 2 months, by then it would have been almost 9 months.I want to do somethign spectacular for her birthday, Since her birthday is a Saturday, I'm planning to, the day before at school, sneak roses that I customized with a little something special and different into her locker.And the next day, I'm not sure what I should do, I'm planning to spend all day with her, and maybe attempt to make a meal that morning, or grab one, and eat it together that night under the stars outside.For our 6 months I'm planning for a locket with our picture and an inscription inside.For my birthday, I know she is planning something big and specialized so I don't want to half ass on her's, that's why I'm planning 2 months ahead. I know she doesn't want a ton of money spent on her, but I do want to give her somethign special, maybe self made flowers with a personalized ring. I have maybe a 100-150$ budget? What can we do all day that would just be really great, and how can i keep a meal warm in my backpack with her all day? Although a cold meal isn't really that bad.I just want to do somethign very thoughtful from the heart, because I know she doesn't want price tag gifts.Guess I can see what she does for My birthday first.Thanks for any help guys! Remember we're both in high school, but this girl really is special and different from all the ones I've seen before.
