|
|
| I'm looking for a somewhat inexpensive idea for bridesmaid gifts for my wedding in October. I was going to get them bracelets that had heart charms that could be personalized with their names for 20 bucks each, but the prices when up by the time I went back.Any other similar, cheaper, suggestions? |

| are you crafty? how close are these girls to you? make them a scapbook page and frame it. if you have known them for awhile include old photos, current ones, insides jokes you used to have, friendship/sister quotes, then in the middle write them a letter about how special they are and how much of a difference they have made in your life. i made these my senior year for my 4 best friends... they all loved them and still have them 5 years later. |

| Go to Things Remembered! I believe they have them in most malls, all over the US. If not, try www.thingsremembered.com They DO have a selection of bracelets and they specialize in engraving. It costs $6.00 for personalizing and I believe the bracelets themselves are $15-$20.Congrats and good luck!! |

| None of my bridesmaids could really afford to buy jewelry for the wedding, so my MOH and I decided to take a jewelry-making class. It cost $20 for the class. You can take a class at Michael's or local beading shop. One class and we had all the knowledge we needed. I made them all necklaces, earrings and bracelets in our wedding colors for less than $20 each and gave it to them for their gifts in cute little satin, monogrammed jewelry pouches that I picked up for about $3 each. The girls all loved their gifts and wore them after the wedding also. And I picked up a new skill that served me well come Christmas time! |

| first and foremost - congrats on your upcoming wedding. i know this won't be a popular answer but i have to say that i am often surprised by brides whose attendants have likely spent a fair bit of money, time and energy for the honor of being in a wedding party and then the brides come on here and want to spend twenty bucks or less to say thank you for all you have done to help me make my day special. i know your budget is likely stretched to the limit but these girls have gone the limit for you. and every girl has more than enough totes, makeup bags, sweatshirts or t-shirts and very few of us want those same items with 'bridesmaid' or m.o.h. or whatever else embroidered on them. and buying them jewellery to wear on your wedding day is self-serving for you and is not a gift for them.having said that have you looked at water globes - there are some pretty ones out there and they make nice keepsakes. you could also buy something personal for each girl for example if one of them is really a wine connoisseur then perhaps a good bottle of wine and a nice wine glass would be a good gift for her. if one is really a lingerie nut then perhaps a gift card to her favorite store. maybe one of the girls is a shoe fanatic in which case you could give her a gift card to her favorite shop. one of them might truly enjoy reading and would appreciate a gift card to the book store. you know the girls so well that you probably know exactly what they would like - so think about giving them each a gift that shows the amount of thought you put into it and still buy each gift for under the twenty dollars you feel the girls are worth. |

| I got my bridemaids a necklace set and earrings each. They were on sale for $25 at a bridal shop in town. I put them in a nice gift box each and the girls will be wearing them on my wedding day. |
