I need any suggestion to help me find a nice birthday gift for this special girl who I want so much to be my girlfriend. She is about to celebrate her 35th birthday by next week and I was completely blank about what is the best I can give to her. She likes flowers and plants but she lives in an apartment with no open yard to grow plants. She is a hard working girl and she likes to travel. I once think of giving her an MP3 player, cell phones or else, but she had them all already. I want to give something to impress her and the gift would remind her how much I care about her. She likes beautiful objects, ethnics, things I know nothing at all. Somebody help, please . . .?

You can't go wrong with jewelry. Chicks really like it. Maybe a nice necklace or earrings.

well, show much how you pay attention to her, obviously you do, give her a really special POTTED flower thats really pretty, maybe in her favorite color, write a special note saying how much you like her and how you were glad to have met her and wishing her a happy birthday of course!! then so everytime she walks in home shell see the flower and think of you!NOTHING can beat something that comes from the heart,no offense but cell phones and mp3's just show off money, to me, theyre material things

a nice spa treatment (or maybe even as a couple), a first edition or autographed copy of her favorite book, tickets to a show or concert she's enjoy (you can go with her, but dont complain if you dont like it)

Jewlery is a way to a girls heart. A nice braclet would be appropriate if she is not your girlfriend. And I'm talking about a nice braclet either silver or gold.

I don't really know where you live but most places have a downtown and most of them have neat shops I would go down there and try and find something maybe a unique wind chime, and then just do something special for her, doesn't always have to be about the gift -ooo I just thought of another idea I don't know where you go to do this but you can buy her a star or - that would be sweet I saw it in a few movies - take her star gazing point to a star ask her if she see's it, when she says yes tell her its her star - aww that would be super sweet -

sometimes a best gift doesn't have to be expensive.. extravagent. I'm not sure what the extent of your relationship is currently.but for birthday, i think it would be nice to send flowers to her work (so she can show it off to her co-workers, get the envious looks from them as well, girls do that. she's going to be the talk of the office for little while) book her on a day spa treatment.. then at the end of her spa session, you should show up with flowers (again.. something simple, not roses..) then tell her, she is very special to you, and you would love to make her each day special~ see how things go... but i think that's better than expensive jewelery/ materialistic stuff.. leave marks in her heart and her mind~ and making her a princess for few days will do~!

if she is NOT your girlfriend dont get her anything expensive. women usually do not like when you do this and feel pressured to do something nice for you when they normally wouldnt care. get her flowers with a nice vase. NOT roses. yes alot of women like them. but not EVERY women like them. i find that most women prefer carnations to roses. or ever get a bouquet mix. however my advice to you would be to get two bouguets of carnations (about $5 each) a bit of babies breath (another $5) and a nice vase ($8?) cut stems diagnally (/) <lol, and put in vase. wrap some paper towels on stems wet thouroly and put in vase (so water wont spill in transport) and then when you get to where u need to be take off paper towel fill vase with water and present gift to woman "look what i got 4 yew" and viola. im not saying that she will like it but im saying you wont waste your money on expensive electronics that she isnt gaurentted to like. also good thing about flowers.. if someone else got her some she can combine said flowers so that its not soemthing she would want to take back to store.

before you give her anything... ask her what do you want, i am guessing she will say nothing.. then get her an empty jar, proclaiming: " well that's great because I got you a whole jar fill of it!" - Of course this is just a joke, it shows you have a sense of humour. If she likes beautiful things, maybe give her a beautiful teapot. Try the markets or go to those ' spiritual ' stores. Something beautiful but unconventional, sorry to all those people that suggested jewellery , but things like that and perfume aren't the best gifts sometimes. Figure out what music she is into, or get some tickets to like a comedy show or orchestra. That way, you are guaranteed to spend more time with her. I think this might be the best gesture... goodluck!

Here's something creative that will be appreciated and you will have fun doing:Make up a crossword puzzle and have all the hints be personal inside moments and jokes that only you two would know about. Put it on a poster board and add some clipart and some pictures to it!The crossword puzzle could be time consuming and a bit frustrating ... you could do the same idea with a WORDSEARCH or WORDFIND puzzle. Put your computer skills to work! Use Excel, get clipart from Yahoo Images Search, copy them, and reformat them, use a gluestick to put on posterboard. Use graph paper, and pictures from magazines if you are not as good on the computer, and it will give it a homemade feeling.
