| i want to get my mom a gift card for mother's day. the gift card will be to fashion bug. i was thinking about a $20 card. what you think the amount should be? |

| That sounds like a good amount to me. Too much money, and she'll feel guilty over you spending. Not enough money, and she'll have to pitch in to buy something. $20 should get her a nice blouse or pair of pants. If you're worried about tax, make it $25. |

| It depends what you make. If you have a job and spend $100 a day on yourself to hang out with friends, cough up some more.It's not the amount that counts, but the thought. But since your only getting a gift card, don't be cheap, it's your mother. |

| $20 is a good amount for a gift card. I bought my mom a Sirius radio for $30. They don't expect us to go all out, just to think of them, it really is the thought that counts. |
