| my friend gave me a music gift card from bestbuy, now.. i dont have much to do with it, because i already have all the music i want. is there any way i can change it to a regular gift card or buy something that has nothing to do with music.?? because when i tried calling costumer service.. they kept me on hold for ever. |

| just go to a bestbuy and talk to the customer service there i bet the could change it to a regular gift card |

| I'm not sure, but I do know that you can sell it on Ebay for some cash. If it is a $20 certificate, you might be able to sell it on Ebay for $15-$18. |

| Well, it says MUSIC gift card so it's proabably only for music items. If you have any questions call the number on the back of the giftcard. If they keep puttin you on hold, be a bit patient. If they take longer than 15 mins to get to you then look in the phone book and get the number to the Best Buy store near you and ask them. They will attend to you right of way, as they are usuually not as busy has the national Costomer Care. |

| well ya can use it to buy dvds or videos (vhs) as well but as someone said you can call exchange for general use in store they wont turn the money away!! |

| Bottom line, you need to go to their customer service and ask. If they say no, persist. Mention that you were wanting to buy these expensive monster cables (they have a HUGE markup, so they'll love this), and that you want store credit for them.Anyway, good luck, and if it doesn't work, you can always just get a free macy's giftcard. |
