| It's my friend's birthday on Tuesday. She's turning 17, and I want to get her something special, preferably for under $30. She's got a wide variety of interests, and she's your typical girl in that she likes clothes, makeup, jewelry, etc. I want to get her something special, though. Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks! |

| What about a gorgeous bag or wallet (purse). All chicks love bags and you can get some lovely ones under 30 bucks. PLUS she will have it with her most of the time. |

| Clothes, makeup, and jewelry are kind of hard for $30 and very difficult to get right, anyway. Other things that should work:A new DVD that she'll likeA pair of tickets to a show that she can go to with her boyfriend, best friend, or momA game or book (even her own Bible, if that's important to her) that she'll be able to use for a couple of yearsTry to avoid things that will be gone within a week, like food, candy, flowers, or magazines and things that aren't "physical" gifts, like a gift certificate or cash. |
