|
|
| My in law 25th wedding anniversary is coming up in July and I have no idea what to get them as a gift. I was talking to my mother in law a while back and she had mentioned their wine glasses they received at marriage were broken in their move two years ago, so I thought it would be nice to buy them a new set. What do you think??? Or any suggestions would be nice. |

| Depending on your budget and your relationship with them, throw them a surprise party? Or make them an album of their lives together over the past 25 years. |

| I think that would be an awesome gift! Maybe even have something engraved on it since it's their 25th anniversary. Good luck!!! |

| I think new wine glasses would be fine. And 25th is the silver anniversary, so if you could tie that in somehow it would be nice. If they are churchgoers, you might consider getting a special arrangement for the Sunday closest to the anniversary in celebration of them. If you tell the florist it's for a 25th anniversary, they will usually work in some silver tinted foilage or something else to make it silver. |

| The wine glasses would be nice and you could throw in some nice wine with it and maybe some cheese and crackers in a nice gift basket. |

That sounds like a lovely gift! What a thoughtful daughter-in-law you are... YOU were a lovely gift! But I do like the idea of an anniversary party.... I was only 12 when my parents had their 25th so I was too young, but I did their 50th & 60th.... and that absolutely THRILLED them! It wasn't terribly expensive either... I did it at home and phoned my invites... as soon as I asked, relatives and friends volunteered so much help that the biggest task involved was cleaning up my house! If you aren't up to a big party, at least have the whole family over for supper and have a nice cake.... remembering the occasion is the most important thing |
