Find out where the couple is registered. You can also give money put it in an evnolple you can give to the parents of the bride.

Do you know where the bride & groom are registered? If so, check their registry and buy something from that. I bought my sister-in-law a picture frame and had it engraved with their name and date of their wedding and they really liked that.Or- giving money as a wedding gift is always good.

Funny, I just gave out the best answer for this exact question. Anyways, I am a cash guy ($100 minimum). Especially if it is a young couple that is just starting out that extra cash will come in handy especially considering what the wedding cost is and the honeymoon. If they have a registry, you can get them something from there too. But, in the immortal words of Howard Stern "CASH IS KING".

well i think depending on the cultural background or how close you are to the couple. Like in South Korea money is expected when a couple is married, while in the states couple register for wedding present, unless you're close to them you can give them money....but it's really up to you, doesn't matter what you give, they're still gonna accept that

Visa,MC,or American express gift cards will be best, this way they can shop for whatever they need, wherever they want.I have seen these cards in stores like walgreens, cvs, walmart, they start i think at $20.00 to $100.00.

Definitely money...people shell out a pretty penny paying for your dinner plate at their wedding...a picture frame won't bring it back , lol.

For the wedding gift I always give money. The newlyweds always could use it. Also some don't register for gifts and it is too hard to buy when you don't know what they need or want.
