|
|
| My best friend and I have known each other since we were 8 years old. Even though we aren't very old now, I think our friendship is very special considering most of our friendship she's lived in another state (I live in CA, she moved to WA when we were 10) She's going to be graduating from college in a year and I'm very excited for her! I've been thinking about what to get her and I'm not sure what. I know I have a year to finalize it, but I still want to have enough time to get her an awesome gift. So I would like some ideas. She loves concerts, art, traveling, taking pictures, crafts like scrapbooking, and so much more. I want to get her something really great but not really over doing it. Something that can thank her for everything she's done for me and to congratulate her on this accomplishment. So far I've been putting together a scrapbook starting from the beginning of our friendship (and I hate scrapbooking!) But I would really like to give her something else too. |

| i think scrapbooking is a good direction to head towards, pictures are very personal and a scrapbook shows you put effort, yet its not too over the top...i think that would be a perfect gift. |

| How about a caricature from a photograph? You can describe the situation you want (e.g. graduation, poker game) and they will do the rest. |

| If you don't like scrapbooking, you can get her a digital picture frame since she likes taking pictures. You can get it at http://www.dazzleconcepts.com |

| Here's something creative that will be appreciated and you will have fun doing:Make up a crossword puzzle and have all the hints be personal inside moments and jokes that only you two would know about. Put it on a poster board and add some clipart and some pictures to it!The crossword puzzle could be time consuming and a bit frustrating ... you could do the same idea with a WORDSEARCH or WORDFIND puzzle. Put your computer skills to work! Use Excel, get clipart from Yahoo Images Search, copy them, and reformat them, use a gluestick to put on posterboard. Use graph paper, and pictures from magazines if you are not as good on the computer, and it will give it a homemade feeling. |

| Scarp books can be boring. Why not make a video or DVD of the pictures and things you to did together. Something you can keep and she can to. And at the end film yourself saying how you feel about her as your friend and what she has done. She would love it I am sure. that way your 2 memory's will be keep for ever. |
