| Hi, Give them a personalized gift such as a painting of both of them together. If you have a photo of them or more than one photo, even if they are not together in same photo you can use this service at http://www.paintyourlife.comThey transform your photo into a painting. It is unique for the couple, and not expensive for you :)It is a gift they will remember.Karl Sultana |

| At the very least, make sure that what you buy doesn't have an equivalent on the registry--it's not only a matter of getting them something they won't need, but you don't want to waste your money on something they can't use. It's nice if everything matches at least in style. I love the monogrammed options at Williams-Sonoma. You can get pretty much any style of glass monogrammed (wine glasses, beer mugs, etc.) Here is a list of monogrammed gift items:http://www.williams-sonoma.com/spgift/index.cfm?objectID=EA89C501-D4C0-E0E5-732C703C1A9620C5&cmtype=lnavA picnic basket or picnic backpack can also be fun. Add a bottle of wine to seal the deal. http://www.amazon.com/PicPack-Picnic-Backpack-Person-Set/dp/B0009GXZU2A cheese board w/cutter or cheese knife and some nice, gourmet cheese should go over well--it's something they can use if they have guests over to watch hockey. (The glasses are good for that, too.) Or, buy some item for the home from the NHL shopping site:http://shop.nhl.com/category/index.jsp?categoryId=1919747&clickid=hmp_topnav6_txtEven more unique, buy them hockey tickets to enjoy after the hoopla of the wedding is all over. Have fun. |
