Being a bride to be I would have to say anything off of the registry. We put that stuff on there because that is the stuff we really want to get. If you have a problem with getting something off a registry try putting together a basket of things that the bride and groom like. Think of things that they like to do together and go from there.

A lot of people frown on money, but I know that's what my fiance and I want. If you're looking for something sentimental, get them something you can have engraved, like a silver tray. If you're looking for something fun, how about a night in a hotel?A gift card to their favorite restaurant will ALWAYS be appreciated.

It depends on what they already have and what type of person he or she is. When I got married I got:A 37in TV - That was the best thing in the world to get, I still have it and still love it!A Spice Rack - which is all used up now - I loved itSome pots and pans - wasn't the greatest but worked and we used themA Picnic Basket Set Thing - never used and ended up throwing it away.Silverware Set - Alright didn't really need it thoughMoney - Which was great because we used it at our honeymoonWe got others but I can't think of any of them.

Get them something from their registry. It's the safest and the easiest way to pick a great gift they will enjoy.

Money. At least $100, but less is OK depending on your age and financial situation.

Go with something personalized. I got aprons that said "Mr. Smith" and "Mrs. Smith" from Red Envelope.

I think it depends on how close you are. If your cousin is like a best friend, and you know their tastes, pick out a personalized gift that will compliment them on their new life as a married couple. If you're not as close, stick with something on their registry. If you're not sure where they're registered, go online and look up their names and wedding dates on the usual suspects (Macys, Target, Crate & Barrel, Bed Bath & Beyond, etc) and you should be able to find out if they've got a gift registry. If they decided not to register, maybe get a gift card at an appropriate store and include it in a nice card with a personalized note; present it with a nice bottle of wine or champagne. I know gift cards aren't very personable, but it's the one last domain for gift options if a couple hasn't provided any specifics and you don't feel comfortable with coming up with something truly personal to them. Try to get a gift card that is appropriate for where they're headed -- furnishing a house? Bed Bath and Beyond or Target have a lot of great home and houseware products. Buying a new home together? Home Depot, while not particularly frilly, can be a godsend when you're renovating.

Hi, Give your cousin a unique gift. something he will remember. That can be a painting of himself. (Not a simple photo). This is original, no one else will do the same 1. Upload/mail photo to http://www.paintyourlife.com/2. Select several different options.3. Wait for painting. Smaller photo cheaper/faster delivery time.Karl |
