I've been with her 3 years and always surprise her with flowers and chocolate. Thats getting predictable and lame. Need something a little more less common. Whats a good random surprise gift? Nothing over $100 or so. Thanks everyone!

maybe a bracelet you made yourself that says "I love you" and it can have little heart charms on it.Things you make yourself are always nice and are special.

If they offer them where you live, you could take her on a balloon ride. Those normally aren't more than $50 a person. Matieral things just start to lose their luster after so long, but a memorable gift is much more long-lasting. And how many girls can say that their boyfriend took them on a balloon ride? The only thing to remember when you're getting a girl a gift is that it should be something from the heart. The saying "it's the thought that counts" is very true. Good luck!

I admire your thoughtfulness. She's a lucky girl.Flowers and chocolates are nice... maybe you should try something more sentimental and unconventional though...You could try to make her her favorite dinner... one time my boyfriend got on the internet and found recipes for every single favorite thing I liked to eat - he found recipes for things from my favorite restaurants and tried to make them. Not everything turned out that great, but the fact that he put so much time into finding the recipes - buying the food and trying to make it nice for me - and the fact that he remembered what I liked - made me feel very happy and I haven't forgotten it since.

surprise her with a beautiful (candle lit) dinner that you made yourself. she might not expect that, plus it's cheaper and more romantic. find some simple recipes that you can make. try foodnetwork.com. you can end the night with some chocolate dipped strawberries. she'll probably love that.
