How bout an agenda? Like a leather bound nice date book.Or a pen (like a really nice pen, not a bic).Really depends on your budget. From a card to earrings. Depends on the person and your relationship.

A tote bag/briefcase, a gift certificate to a place you know she likes to frequent is always good.

If your friend has everything, then maybe some sort of keepsake would make a nice gift. Perhaps you could purchase a stethoscope and engrave it with information about her degree. Or, mount on a plaque one of those knee knocker thingies doctors use to test your reflexes and, again, add some sort of engraved plate about her accomplishment. Get her a gift certificate to a framing shop so she can create a beautiful framing treatment for her diploma. Collect notes from her friends with their thoughts about her accomplishments and a create collage or shadow box from these notes, pictures, and other mementos of her work in earning her degree.Or, buy her a bag of red licorice. I'm hard to buy for, too. But, I always appreciate and enjoy a bag of red licorice! You are thoughtful to try to do something for your friend. I hope you find just the right thing that pleases you both.Good luck.

When I graduated from nursing, my husband got me a crystal heart shaped jewelry box, with a gold inscription, telling my name, date, and major. I use it every day and its precious. And its not something that will sit around collecting dust.
