Prom gift 4 a friend or more???

k i'm takin girl 2 her prom i'm goin as her friend nd we'r really close but i hav feelins 4 her .. different q. about wat i should do.. neways i wanna get her a gift . preferably 1 that i can do as a friend so like somethin 2 give her on the night 2 make it more special 4 her but also so it can mean sumthin if we start goin out .. so yh i was thinkin flowers but i don't know wat type or if thats 2 forward or nething .. shes like a rele nice, sensitive girl if taht helps but yh plz answer nicely and soz that i type as if on msn .. thnx 4 ne help btw .. yh other thing this is in uk and in yr.11 so maybe slightly different from american thing but yh ne help will be appreciated.
