You can send it any time before the wedding, if you send it afterwards, it is best to send it within three months, so if you get the opportunity to give the gift now, go ahead!

If you want to get him one, go ahead and give him one close to the wedding date.

Generally, the wedding gift is sent to the bride's home or bride's parents' home prior to the wedding. In this case, it would be acceptable to deliver the gift to the groom before the wedding.

Mail a gift to his house or give a gift after the wedding. It would be best not to give it in the workplace.

It really doesn't make a difference. For many years, wedding gifts were sent to the Bride's parents' home (where the Bride lived before she was married) before the wedding so the gifts could be put out on display but those days are GONE. You really don't hear of a Bride and Groom displaying their gifts anymore. You have up to one year to present a wedding gift to a Bride and Groom so it really doesn't make a difference if you give it to them two weeks before the wedding or two weeks after the wedding.Answered by: A Certified wedding specialist / A Professional bridal consultant / A Wedding ceremony officiant

Give it to him before the wedding. My co-worker gave our gift early because he knew where I wanted to go for a honeymoon and he didn't want me to accidentally double book our destination. He already had it paid for as a surprise. Co-workers are great. Congrats to you!

If he's registered at any stores order online and have it shipped there and give him a card afterward. They will be getting a lot of things to transport here and there and just having it delivered will save them one trip from the car.
