The Appropriate Time to Send a Wedding Gift?

| it usually customary to send gifts a few weeks before the wedding anyone. when letting some one know that you will not be attending their wedding it is always nice to send the gift a few weeks before and sending the regret that you wont be attending a week or two before that. |

| I'd send it now. Then it's out of the way. It's easier for the bride to keep track of and get her thank-you back to you too. |
