I am in a wedding this weekend and we are making goodie baskets for the bridesmaids. So far we have bath salts, a heating pad, lip gloss, a ice cream cone gift certificate, and we need more ideas! Help me please, we are trying to make these on a pretty strict budget. HELP!

How about a nice frame (you can get them anywhere!), a heartfelt card, and maybe a couple of scented candles?

You could use tea candles, sachets, potpourri, cute little nick knacks, bath oil, sun block, sea shells anything of that nature.

Bath poufs, loofa pads, little scented soaps, hand lotion, scratch-off lottery tickets, votive candle holders, candy. If you have a dollar store nearby, they'll probably have lots of little things that would be nice. It's a lovely idea!

If it is a wedding in which the bridesmaids are staying over night in a hotel after the reception... speaking from experience I always enjoyed snacks, bottled water, Tylenol. Stuff that can come in handy after a long night of partying at the reception:)

Go to a Big Lots of Marshalls or Ross. They usually have neat Body Scrubs and Lotions etc. that would complete the pampered idea there. At these stores you could also get them nice soft hand towels in the wedding colors or in white to go in the bags. Expect the other "spa" items to run around 3 to 7 bucks a piece and the hand towels will be about 3-4 depending on brand etc. I have seen Body Butter at Big Lots for about $3.50 before. Also try going to the mall and picking up some of the little perfume sample bottles. You may have to hit up a couple stores so as not to look suspicious for taking all the samples, but some of the little bottles are neat looking and would be a fun gift and its FREE! If you can fill the bags with those things that would make a pretty neat gift. No need to go overboard. There is already a lot in there!Good luck!

I gave my bridesmaids gift bags with bath items (lotions, washes, scrubs), a little scented candle, a packet of cute notecards and a small photo album. I also gift-wrapped their bridesmaids gifts (a necklace and earring set to wear in the wedding) and put them in the bag as well. Have a great time!
