You know, where you spent your cash {went shopping} at the end of each round for prizes, depending on the amount. The catch phrase back then was "I'll take the rest on a gift certificate".

Oh, my God, I totally loved that old way!! I was a kid, but I loved looking at the kitchen stuff, the living room stuff, bedroom stuff, and pretend it was me doing the picking. Loved the certificate!!! Loved Chuck Woolery as well. That show is just not the same. Never was a Vanna fan (remembered how bad an actress she was??), and Pat Sajak is about as exciting as a saltine cracker. I hate how he always seems to "scare" the contestant into solving the problem sooner than taking a chance and solving it later, thus piling up more cash.
