I have a gift certificate for multiple treatments at a spa. Do I tip everyone after each treatment or at the desk before I leave? and what percent?

The usual etiquette for things like that is about 15% of the cost of what ever product you have picked-up! for example product is 100 dollars tips is 15 dollars! That goes the same for when you have any others services too like restaurants (not fast food)! So GRATUITY as it`s called is 15%! Hope this helps you

Tip is usually not included in gift certificates, so depending on service, the standard tip is 15%.. However, if they are exceptionally well, then you can give 20-25%.. That way everyone is happy! Hope you enjoy your time at the Spa!

you are not required to leave a tip anywhere !A tip is a gift but to some it is 50% of their living !A tip is something YOU give to someone for excellent service !Would YOU leave a Tip at Mac donalds?NOPE ! Would Leave a Tip at any place YOU haid to Pay to get in or use their service ?NOPE! Would YOU Give a Bus driver a Tip ? NOPE ?I dunno why people Tip cab drivers Either because I have to tell him where to turn How to get There etccc... and He or she Don't even open my Door for me or Help me with My bag or bags !OK because YOU have Gift certifiacte and really arent paying for The spa maybe a small Tip would be recommended and i mean small $5 or less To The Person who performed the service for YOU !YOUR Not Obligated though and a Tip is not expected those people are high salary employees they had to get a degree to give those massages or teach you how to use Swim or use the exercise equipment !

You tip the person who is treating you. Not everyone in the building. 20% is what I usually give.

that is a very good question. it is my understanding that you dont tip the owner of the spa even if they give you some sort of treatment. pending on the type of day you are having wether it be hair, nail or body... i usually give two or three dollars to the lady who washes my hair & five to each person who does color, cut & style. i normally have the same lady for mani & pedi so she gets ten. during the holiday season i bring in an assortment of deli foods for them to snack. its a nice change from cookies & cakes. but im a regular at my spa.
