She will be walking soon so it has to be something I can get on short notice, and would prefer something under $200.

Get a crystal rose and tell her " Like this rose my love, devotion, gratitude, and faith in you will never die. Then, you can get down on your knees and propose to her if you haven't already done so, and you better.

Something nice and engraved from Things Remembered would be nice. Or a nice necklace with a charm, something that states she graduated. A charm of a cap?

Tiffany's jewelry...You can get a nice bracelet for under $200. Or if you don't see anything there you can just get her jewelry from a jewelry store. She will love it!

A poem involving all the characteristics you like about her. I recently paid a professional to write a poem for my friends birthday, and he did a fabulous job. It was not expensive, but a classic that will go down in history. You can email him at: allenjesson@bigpond.comPlus you will have money left over to buy something else as well.

I would get her something for the start of her professional life (like a really nice pen or a nicely framed photo of her college buddies for her desk) and a gift certificate for someplace like Target or Walmart with the remainder. (Because every college grad is going to be on a shoestring budget for a while).
