| I have a hot pink 4 g ipod nano that I received as a Christmas gift in December. I want to put videos on it, so I attempted to use rockbox and linux . Nothing really happened when I installed either of the programs, and I am not sure if i am installing the software right since it is kinda complex, or if its not possible because my ipod may be a second gerneration nano. If it is a 2nd gen, is there any way to do this? Or maybe, is there another website/program I could try which may work out for me? Thanks! |

| I'm pretty sure the only playable video for iPods are the iPod video. All the nano is able to do is photos/music. |

| nanos are for people that don't need a ton of songs and want a less bulkier ipod. video's are for people that love songs and want thousands of them, Music videos, movies, and TV shows. Nano's do not play videos in any way. |
