| I am giving $100 in a check....but I happen to have champagne that I don't drink.... it's a $40 bottle, and I know they drink it - so should I give it to them? I am actually standing up in the wedding and going to the rehersal dinner in a few hours... so i am bringing the gifts to the dinner. Thanks for advice! |

| I think it's a fine gift. I got a bottle of champagne for my college graduation...thought it was a great idea. If I got a bottle for my wedding I'd think it was nice. |

| I'm usually not a fan of re-gifting, but assuming this champagne is still fresh and you know they drink it, I think it's fine to give that along with the check. |

| I would, there is nothing wrong with it, you already know that they drink that kind, so it is a nice gift, just dust it off, make it look new, and bring it along. Don't forget the gift bag!! you can get special bags for chanpagne and wine bottles |

| This sounds like a great gift-you are generous! I would just give them the $40 bottle of wine, but the check is a bonus. |

| Sounds good to me. The check is enough but the bottle adds something extra and since you know they will like it go for it. |
