Are they registered somewhere if so you can pick something off their list. If not then money or a gift card is always nice it seems like the easy way out but after spending money on a wedding and honeymoon and getting gifts they don't want it is sometimes nice to be able to have some money or a gift card to be able to spend it how you like.

a gift certificate would be nice... like a one day all access of their favorite spa... or you can be extravagant and grant them a weekend getaway in a nice beach resort.... your brother will be forever thankful.

i asked my brother and sister in law for a photo of themselves they loved. i blew the pic up and had it professionally framed with a 20cm border around for guests to sign at their wedding- instead of a guest book (so outdated) = beautiful hand made frame + pic of them + everyone they love at their wedding sign in a silver pen around it..... they have it in their house and ppl always comment on it, plus all my friends have had me do it 4 themcost about $150 depending where u go (i'm in sydney, aust)
