the hoist seems well constructed and does what it is supposed to do. I would buy another if the need arises.Worth the money.
Review #2: Lifted Grandma right outa that bed

After Grandma died, we was able to get that fat old broad right out of that bed and drop her in the back of my F150. A course, it was ridin' on the tires so we had to borrow ol' jimmy bob's new dualie to get her to the cemetary. It took six men two days to dig that big d**n hole. They said it was six by six by six and that seemed right cause that was how many brewski's Grandma would drink for breakfast. Anyways, there was this big ol' oak tree right over the hole so we just wenched her up and dropped her right in. Easier than burying a big milk cow.
I don't know what we woulda done without this hoist. I guess she would still be laying there just oozing and stinking up the place although all that beer she drank might of pickled her like them eggs at the store.
Our only complaint was the top hook on that hoist was a little small; that steel bar we slipped through just bent like a horse shoe when we hoisted granny up.
I guess it was good ol' granny went when she did cause my little sister is expecting twins from that no good cousin of ours. I think granny's bed will be big enough for a 13 year old and her babies. At least little sis won't be teased about being an old maid anymore.
Well, that's all the time I got to talk about that hoist. It worked good for ol' granny.

Hey this is a great product for the price. The only problem is the chain trolly used for lowering and raising the load jams very easily. If you guide the chain (for raising or lower) it seems to work find... hey for the money its great. |
