The Wing Little Giant 26-foot Type 1A 300-pound duty rating ladder system wraps many different ladders into a single package. Review #1: Excellent Product - but heavy! (and watch your fingers...)

After my husband had a conventional aluminum ladder tip and cause him to fall while working on gutters, we decided to buy a premium-quality ladder. The footprint of the Little Giant ladder is wide, so it is very stable. We have used it in both extension-ladder and step-ladder mode. It feels solid when standing on it, and does not rock or pitch. It is extremely sturdy, and nicely finished.
Two problems that we have encountered: (1) It is heavy, and that may be problematic for some users, (2) BE CAREFUL when sliding it into the shortest configuration - you can get your fingers caught! We are giving it 5 stars, because the finger-pinching problem is mostly a matter of being careful and paying attention to what you are doing, and is not a result of a defect of the product.
The ladder is expensive, but good quality items are priced accordingly.

I'm not usually the type to take the time to write a review. I bought the Little Giant about 6 weeks ago. I completely love it. I had a bunch of tree work that I wanted to do. I carried the ladder out back, and went to work, with my father-in-law. We never even looked at the instruction manual. It was so user friendly. We used it in the step ladder mode and the regular ladder mode. For one holly tree on a hill, I even used it in the hill mode. Aside from being easy to use, it's by far the sturdiest ladder I've ever used. I feel so secure on it. I have a giant cherry tree, and once the cherries are ripe, I will have that bad boy in giant step ladder mode to pick the cherries before the birds wipe me out. I've got some roof work to do over the garage, and will be using it for that. I highly, highly recommend this product. I love everything about it, and actually love using it. Oh, and I have an unused owners manual if anybody wants one.:) |
