Review #1: Looks cool and useful, but it's really cheap and flimsy 2008-01-21 I bought this flashlight thinking it would be of equal or similar quality of the larger Stanley Tripod flashlights. I was very wrong. It is very flimsy, and cheap. The keychain part sticks down so low, that it won't stand up on it's own like it is supposed to. It does have a nice bright led light, but if you are looking for a small compact led light, there are better ones out there. If you like the tripod feature, I do highly recommend the other two Stanley Tripod flashlights. I own both the "aa" and the "aaa" sizes and they are great.
Review #2: my dad loved it 2007-08-26 I got this for my dad on father's day. He would always have a hard time while working on his car or around the house. And he now he uses it all the time. It has a great battery life too.
Review #3: Great idea, but poorly executed 2007-07-27 Bought this to put on my teen's backpack. Keychain arrived and new out of the package the keychain links were broken. I fixed the links for him and within one day, one of the legs broke off. Not at all impressed with the quality. The full size light was great. Keychain not worth the $$! Gave it two stars, as the light itself is great.
Review #4: Nice little light 2007-05-20 For something so small, it puts out a fair amount of light. Very light weight. Slide switch turns on accidently sometimes (twist type would have been better). All in all, worth the cost.
Review #5: Stanley tripod flashlight-keychain 2007-03-20 Works as advertised, but pretty big for a key chain in my mind. Uses LED's. It is handy if you need a small light source pointed in one spot but nobody to hold it. I got it as a combo offer with it's larger version which I like alot. Would reccommend it you need a small light source. |
