Review #1: A STAND UP LIGHT 2008-02-09 I gave this light to my husband for Christmas - he is a engineering, home fix it - car fix it kind of guy and owns many lights for various products. He LOVED this - the swivel feature, the tripod feature and the LED aspect - I was a hero with this gift! Highly recommended for all of its features. Well made and looks great. Stanley MaxLife 369 Tripod LED Flashlight #95-112M
Review #2: Neat Gadget 2008-02-09 This is pretty much an average flashlight, but uses long lasting LEDs and gives the user the option to load extra batteries into the "legs" for extended battery life. It takes BETWEEN 3 and 9 batteries depending how long you want it to last. Apparently the LEDs are low power usage because the battery rating is high in terms of usage time, and it hasnt dimmed on me at all yet. It's got 3 power settings, but I used it on high all the time. The plastic feels a little cheap, but the tripod does work. Again, for the money, it's great when you dont have someone to hold the flashlight in place!
Pros: Lightweight Good battery life fairly bright for it's size
Cons: Would like a stronger "feel" The higher models have more LEDs, which means more light
Review #3: Eh, not so great 2008-01-27 Bought this for my mother for Christmas. She wanted a bright flashlight. This is a neat design, but it really didn't give off the light I thought it would. We kept it, but I wouldn't recommend it.
Review #4: Bright lights!!! 2008-01-26 This was a gift for someone, so I cannot speak about the battery life. This is cleverly designed and has different power settings. It is blinding at its brightest and very usable at its lowest. I would buy another one, if I had the need. I bought this during a gold box special and couldn't be happier!
Review #5: Floppy head 2008-01-19 I got this for my husband who works in tight spaces. The mobile head is too mobile. With the flick of a finger it flips over when he is using it as a standard flashlight. Great concept, but I should have waited for the next generation. |
