Customer Reviews: Review #1: Sturdy reading glasses for a variety of applications 2010-07-30 Like many who experience the parallel process of advancing age and declining near vision, I found both the inexpensive box store reading glasses, and the expensive prescription reading glasses to be equally unsuitable for use in outdoor activities including sports, yard work, construction, etc, as well as the indoor shop environment. They were too light, easily damaged, easily dislocated in rough use, and the lenses are usually so small that they offer little eye protection. I recently borrowed a pair of Dewalt glasses from someone on a dive boat and immediately afterward went out and bought a pair. They are extremely durable yet light in weight, fit VERY well, don't slip easily, don't fog up easily, and function as their name implies as safety glasses. The price is quite reasonable, and they are streamlined enough to be acceptable even for an office environment. Review #2: Getting older stinks 2010-07-30 I ordered these safety glasses because I can no longer focus on close up tasks or objects. Wearing safety glasses over reading glasses is a pain. I rated these 4 stars because it seems to me the bifocal field sits a little high in the field of view. When looking straight on, I really notice the lens change. To be fair, this is my first experience with anything "bi-focal". The build quality was good and the glasses came with a nice protective sleeve. I would recommend them and buy another pair as they are cheap at less then $10. Review #3: Nice and clear optics for such an inexpensive price. 2010-07-14 Needed some motorcycle and bicycle nighttime riding glasses with bifocal lenses. I need to be able to read my bicycle computer or motorcycle gps when riding at night. These work well. Review #4: Can now see 2010-07-03 Great glasses , I am old and need magnifiers all the time . I have the smoked and clear lens . Great product . Review #5: Dewalt Safety Glasses with Readers 2010-06-27 Excellent quality. Comes with cloth lens cover which can also be used to clean the lenses. Product was exactly as decsribed. The prescription strength of the readers was correct and they work like a charm. Highly recommend if you need readers while working with power tools. Good quality and price.
